With her experience as a D-1 collegiate athlete, background in nutrition and anatomy and internship at a naturopathic center for healing, Caley has long been cultivating a deep-rooted passion to help people live healthier, happier lives. Through these life experiences she came to realize that treatment centered around prescription drugs and the increasingly paramount “band-aid” mindset were outdated. Caley’s passion is centered around working with preventative and therapeutic methods promoting active and energetic lifestyles. Treating symptoms is not a solution to the underlying causes of those symptoms. You must get to the root of the issue and look at the body holistically, rather than segregating systems and treating them as unrelated issues. Everything is connected.
In 2006 Caley moved from Oregon to San Francisco and began to study yoga completing a 200 hour training with Yoga Tree from Janet Stone, Darren Main and Elise Lorimer. From there she studied with Shiva Rea and obtained certifications to work with children and at risk youth. In 2010, her quest to bring health and happiness to others lead her to enroll with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York to become a holistic health coach. Caley recently completed her 500hr yoga training with Dharma Mittra in New York. These days you can find her in LA leading yoga hikes in Temescal Canyon and teaching for Dharma Yoga LA & Surya Yoga.
Caley is dedicated to sharing knowledge about how you can reclaim your health and happiness! Educating people about better foods and lifestyle choices is her specialty. She leads workshops and seasonal cleanses for balance and vitality and volunteers with The Art of Yoga Project, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to using yoga and arts as therapeutic healing methods for young females in the juvenile justice system.
